About Chelsey

Chelsey Glasson is a researcher, writer, and former technology leader who spent nearly two decades working across the technology and public policy sectors. In 2020, she sued Google, alleging that the company violated Washington’s Law Against Discrimination by discriminating against her because of her pregnancy and retaliating against her for opposing pregnancy discrimination within the company. After nearly two years of litigation, Glasson reached a settlement with Google in 2022.

Now a third-year law student at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Chelsey is focused on opening institutional and legal black boxes. Her current research and writing explore employment law, product design, and product liability, with particular attention to the ways these fields intersect.
